Privacy policy
ACEE Consulting runs the ACEE Financial Wellness platform. This page explains what we collect when you take the Financial Health Check, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your answers to the assessment questions and your results. Answers are saved as you go, so you can continue an unfinished check later, on this or another device.
- Optional "About you" details (age range, dependants, province), if you choose to give them.
- Your email address, only if you save your results or create an account.
- Basic activity, such as when you completed the check or signed in, to run and improve the service. Your IP address is never stored; we keep only a one-way scrambled version for a short time to prevent abuse.
How we use it
- To calculate and show your results, and keep them in your account.
- To send you sign-in links, "continue later" links and, if you ask for them, your reports.
- To send financial wellness tips, only if you opt in. You can opt out anytime.
- To understand, in aggregate, how people use the assessment so we can improve it.
We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Where it is stored
In Canada, encrypted in transit and at rest. Sign-in emails are delivered by our email provider.
How long we keep it
- Unfinished checks are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Results you never save to an account are deleted automatically after 12 months.
- Saved results are kept until you delete your account.
- Activity records are deleted after 12 months.
Your rights and choices
- Delete your account and all your saved results at any time from your dashboard.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion by emailing hello@aceeconsulting.ca.
- Anyone with the link to a results page or a "continue later" link can open it, so share them only with people you trust.
